Our brand-new facility is a light, comfortable, flexible space that allows ideas to flourish. Based in the Arts Building in Finsbury Park, we are just 15 mins from central London. The Illumination Space is a hub for creativity, innovation and discovery. Perfect for market research, creative workshops, training days, brainstorming sessions or just a co-working space. Our fantastic team will ensure everything feels effortless so you can focus on what matters.
The Space
- A light, comfortable and flexible space.

- Comfortably holds: 8 people in an informal layout with a sofa, low table and comfy chairs & 10 people in a formal layout in a boardroom style.
- Access to a 50” Smart TV for showing stimulus.
The Viewing Room
- Light and modern meeting space where up to 12 people can comfortably view research.
- Fully equipped room with a high quality large one-way mirror and state of the art audio-visual equipment.
- Sessions can be viewed directly through the viewing mirror as well as via a linked 55' Smart TV.
- Access to a 50’ Smart TV can also be used for displaying stimulus.

Observational Research & Focus Group Facilities
Our viewing room has a large one-way mirror and recording equipment for researchers to observe and document participant behaviour without direct interaction, and audio-visual equipment for conducting focus group discussions.
In-depth Interviews
Rooms are available for conducting one-on-one interviews with participants, equipped with recording and streaming capabilities.
Recording
We offer a high-quality HD recording as standard, you will be sent to an MP3 audio and MP4 video format via a secured file sharing site.
Live Streaming
We provide secure live streaming service to allow your clients to remotely observe research sessions in real-time from anywhere in the world.
Equipment & WiFi
We have everything you need. Large 4K Smart LED Screens are available in both rooms. An Owl Camera is available for conference set up. All rooms are covered with a secure and free WiFi network.
Food & Drink
Complimentary tea, coffee and a selection of healthy snacks can be provided and client food platters can be prepared in advance. We are happy to accommodate all tastes and requirements.

FAQs
What is the size & layout of the space?
The total space (both rooms) is 49sqm. The Space can comfortably hold up to 8 participants in an informal layout and 10 in a formal layout. Additionally, The Viewing Room can comfortably hold up to 12 observers.
How do I get there?
We are easily accessible from Central London via train & bus.
Follow the directions from Finsbury Park station:
- For the most direct route follow the Wells Terrace exit. You will see M&S directly opposite the exit.
- Take a right outside the station and follow the pedestrianised road up towards The Picture House, which will be on your right,
cross over the zebra crossing onto Clifton Terrace. - Then make a RIGHT onto Morris Place and the Arts Building is on the left-hand side. Look out for the big arrow to the front door.

What hours is the space available?
The space is open Monday to Friday and our booking slots are as follows:
- Daytime: 10:00am to 5:00pm
- Afternoon: 2:00pm to 10:00pm
- Evening: 5:30pm to 10:00pm

Does hire include additional time before or after the session?
Yes, our rental costs include one hour of free access before and after your research session, allowing you ample time for setup and debriefing.
Is parking available nearby?
Public transport is the quickest and easiest method of travel. We do not have parking spaces on site but there is a Fonthill Road public car park within 5 minutes walk of the Arts Building and on-street parking of up to 2hrs which both come with a charge and they are available on a first come first served basis.
Is there any on-site printing?
We are environmentally conscious, so can provide limited B&W printing if required. However, we can assist you with printing arrangements as part of our admin support services, subject to additional charges.
